Write once,
at the end of the day.
Vesperine is a contemplative evening journal. Write once when the day has settled, and the Mirror offers a single reflection in return, generated on your device and seen by no one else.
Coming soon to the App Store
The idea
Most journaling apps want more from you. Streaks to keep. Daily prompts. Reminders that nudge when you have missed a day. Word counts, mood graphs, year-in-review montages.
Vesperine asks for less. The idea is small. At the end of the day you write once, in plain words, about whatever the day held. When you finish, the Mirror offers a single quiet reflection on what you wrote. Then the evening is closed.
There are no streaks and no scores. If you skip a night, nothing breaks and nothing scolds you. The entries you keep are yours, written on your device and synced only through your own private iCloud.
The app
The Mirror
When you finish writing, the Mirror reads what you wrote and offers one short reflection back. It notices. It does not advise, fix, or cheer. It is a witness to the day you set down, nothing more.
The reflection is generated entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence. The words you write are never sent to KSQ Studios or to any server to be read. The Mirror sees them only on your phone, and only for as long as it takes to reflect.
Also
On your device.
The Mirror's reflections are generated on your iPhone using Apple Intelligence. Your writing is never sent away to be read. There is no account, and no server of ours in the loop.
No streaks.
No counters, no daily goals, no reminders that scold. You write when you write. A missed night is just a night, not a broken chain.
Yours, across your devices.
Your entries sync across your iPhone and iPad through your own private iCloud, encrypted under your Apple ID. KSQ Studios has no servers involved and never receives a copy.
Made by
Vesperine is designed, built, and supported by one person, Kurt Klein, in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. It is the fifth app from KSQ Studios, after Minuted, Winnowed, Eclipsed, and Endured.
